During this final season life, I am going on a journey to define "ME." Opening up and going outside of my comfort zone to redefine ME.. Exploring and pursuing new interests that will lead to personal happiness, serenity, and tranquility. In undertaking this mission, overcoming the FEAR is my greatest challenge. Fear has played a large role in my life, but I overcame the FEAR of breast cancer, chronic pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Apnea. My new mantra: FEAR has two meanings: "(1) Forget Everything And Run, or (2) Face Everything and Rise. The Choice is Mine." Blogging here I come ready or not!!!

  1. I have several of these days. Today was one of them. Some days this is just all we can manage to do. Hope you’re doing well, Yvonne. Thanks for sharing another great post. 🙂

  2. Like I’ve said before, I think your blog is probably the most inspirational blog I’ve ever come across. When I get in a rut, I know right where to come to get inspired. You’re a very strong and kind hearted woman. Glad to know you are doing quite well. I’m still struggling with the loss of my brother, but I know with my faith in God and time, I will survive, even though today it’s very, very difficult. HUGS to you, my dear friend. xx 🙂

    1. Thank you. I lost a brother, my only sibling, more than eleven years ago. As the years pass, the pain lessens. The memories and staying in touch with his children and grandchildren helps lessens the sadness.

      1. Sorry that you, too, lost your brother. It is painful, especially when you’re really close. Unfortunately, I’ve experienced this way too many times and the pain will never go away, but like you said, “it will lessen with time.” My brother’s only son passed away at the age of 14, 16 years ago. His daughter has nothing to do with us, so we don’t have his children or grandchildren to stay in touch with. He had a granddaughter, but his daughter never told him or let him see her. Long, messed up story. I hope you’re still doing “well” my dear friend. Have a great week and keep on inspiring, the way you do. xxxx

      2. I have been blessed to stay in touch with my brother’s five children and his ten grandchildren on a regular basis. While I don’t see them as often as I would like, as they all live in different places, I make sure to remember every birthday and XMAS. I know this is what my brother would have done for me; and, I feel grateful that his offsprings hearts are opened to receive me. I pray that the sadness is lifted and peace, love and joy surrounds you.
