Weekly Photo Challenge – Shadows

During this final season life, I am going on a journey to define "ME." Opening up and going outside of my comfort zone to redefine ME.. Exploring and pursuing new interests that will lead to personal happiness, serenity, and tranquility. In undertaking this mission, overcoming the FEAR is my greatest challenge. Fear has played a large role in my life, but I overcame the FEAR of breast cancer, chronic pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Apnea. My new mantra: FEAR has two meanings: "(1) Forget Everything And Run, or (2) Face Everything and Rise. The Choice is Mine." Blogging here I come ready or not!!!

    1. Thank you, Karen. One good thing about this new interest in photography — it is teaching me to be more observant. In the past, I would have passed the image in this photo without a second glance — other than the bright colors — totally ignoring the shadowing. Hugs.

  1. I’m glad you added this picture to the Weekly Photo Challenge. I always love it when I can use one photo for both groups. A hint for you: Instead of creating a new post you could have just “updated” the Wordless Wednesday one and after the photograph written a sentence that says “Posted for Wordless Wednesday and Weekly Photo Challenge. Then highlight Weekly Photo Challenge in that sentence and make it a hyperlink. (Be sure to click on update after doing those things.)

When I use a photo for two challenges I usually make a different title that doesn’t mention either of them. But by creating the link and also having both “wordless wednesday” and “weekly photo challenge” in your tags it will go to anyone who searches for those two groups in their reader.

Oh….. I just noticed you don’t use “wordless wednesday” and “photography” as tags in your Wordless Wednesday posts. That is the only way non-followers will find you those photos unless they happened upon your blog. I think you will find you will have WAY more people looking at those photos if you always add those two tags. And it often brings in more followers as well. (Tags are meant to be specific to a given post.)

Hope it was okay that I left the hints……. and feel free to ask questions if you don’t understand something I said.

I am enjoying catching up on your blog. Now that I’m back in Seattle I can do that!
