My Rocking Chair
Yesterday, Fed Ex delivered the cushion for my recently purchased rocking chair.
Soon lower temperatures will arrive in Florida. And, I look forward to the upcoming days of rocking in STILLNESS and QUIET as I look within for peace, love, and happiness. And, I AM GRATEFUL.
More and more, my life is expanding toward showing respect, expressing love, and performing acts of kindness to those whose path I cross. And, I AM GRATEFUL.
During this final season life, I am going on a journey to define "ME." Opening up and going outside of my comfort zone to redefine ME.. Exploring and pursuing new interests that will lead to personal happiness, serenity, and tranquility.
In undertaking this mission, overcoming the FEAR is my greatest challenge. Fear has played a large role in my life, but I overcame the FEAR of breast cancer, chronic pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Apnea.
My new mantra: FEAR has two meanings: "(1) Forget Everything And Run, or (2) Face Everything and Rise. The Choice is Mine."
Blogging here I come ready or not!!!

I wish you many peaceful hours and days rocking quietly in your new rocking chair!
The days are still hot, hot in Florida. But each morning I arise at 5:00 am to rock and relax. Back in the day, many, many days ago, I use to rock and roll. (smile)

Love that you are so clear. “Expanding toward showing respect, expressing love, and performing acts of kindness to those whose path I cross.” Couldn’t have said it better myself. And, I AM GRATEFUL too.
Thank you for your comments. It took me a long time to realize that what I put out there, I would get back – Karma.
The attitude of gratitude is a blessing to all concerned.
Expressing gratitude throughout the day, brings happiness into my space. Thank you for your comments.
You are so, so right. Thank you for this comment.
what a beautiful vision you created about rocking in your comfy rocking chair, and all the thoughts you will think about peace, love, happiness and gratitude – a perfect combination to bring you many happy hours of rest and quiet and serenity.
As always, Karen, I appreciate your feedback. Indeed, the back lanai is the place I go to for serenity, quiet and go within. It keeps me grounded.
I love my new rocking chair. And, wonder why did I ever wait so long to purchase one. I guest this is the season in life, when it meant enough that I made it happen. Grateful that you continue to follow my blog. Thank you for the comments.
