During this last season of life, I am on a journey.
Two years ago, I opened up and ventured outside of my comfort zone to redefine ME. Daily, I explore and pursue new interests always seeking to bring happiness, love and tranquility into my space.
When I undertook this mission to find ME, overcoming FEAR has been my greatest challenge. Because, FEAR has played a large role in my life, since childhood.
But I overcame the FEAR of breast cancer, chronic pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Apnea.
And, I will not allow FEAR to limit what I share on this blog.
My new mantra: FEAR has two meanings: “(1) Forget Everything And Run, or (2) Face Everything and Rise. The Choice is Mine.”
Blogging here I come ready or not!!!
yes!!

One mantra that repeats in my head is ‘faith or fear’ as you cannot have both.

I appreciate your comments. Chronic pain and breast cancer are both life-long conditions that can zap you mentally, physically and emotionally. I made up my mind, after a while, that I wasn’t going to allow these coditions to steal my peace and joy.

My mother has lived with non-Hodgkins lymphoma for 30 years, so I understand what is involved with that ongoing battle. We are careful to not visit when we are sick, for her immune system has been destroyed over the years.

This is so true. I, too, self-protect due to my compromised immune. And, I am thankful friends and family understand the health risks. Living with a chronic, non-curable condition is a battle. Thank you for your comments.

Thank you. Maintaining a positive attitude is good for my health. And, I work hard to stay focused on the good things in life as opposed to stressing about the negatives that cross my path.
