My Favorite Love Poem

“You and I are the best team of all. You are my best friend and the love of my life, my heart, my soul, the one I want to be with each and everyday. This is not my favorite poem, but these are the words I needed to express today. Because, tomorrow, I face a biopsy exam and If it shows a breast cancer recurrence; I need the team member who was by my side seven years ago as I went through a lumpectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. While I refuse to succumb to fear, I am thankful that Hubby will be at my side every step of the way. I know that “together we can get through anything” because that’s the way its been for us these last fifty-five years.

During this final season life, I am going on a journey to define "ME." Opening up and going outside of my comfort zone to redefine ME.. Exploring and pursuing new interests that will lead to personal happiness, serenity, and tranquility. In undertaking this mission, overcoming the FEAR is my greatest challenge. Fear has played a large role in my life, but I overcame the FEAR of breast cancer, chronic pain associated with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Sleep Apnea. Dearest Sister, it is snowing here in Ireland at the moment as I read your post and I am so sorry that you have to face this challenge , I am going to say some prayers for you now and ask that your results will be good , I just know that all your readers will be sending healing thoughts to you when they read your post , I send you healing thoughts from my heart and blessings on this journey. Thank you for your prayers. The weather is warm and sunny this morning in Florida, as I wait in the imaging waiting room for my scheduled appointment within the next half hour. Hubby is by my side and my mind is open to receive the outcome, whatever it is in the next several days. In the meantime, I will continue to focus on living my life in the present moment focusing on what brings happiness, peace and joy into my space. Again, I am ever grateful for your prayers..
